Beschreibung

The English documentation is far richer than that in any other language. Many users who set another language than English can actually read English. When they try to access a documentation page through a URL with no information about the language (e.g., https://trisquel.info/wiki/Introduction_to_Trisquel_GNU_Linux), they usually end up on a blank page and an invitation to fill it (e.g., https://trisquel.info/fr/wiki/Introduction_to_Trisquel_GNU_Linux). They will usually believe that the Wiki has nothing to teach them on the accessed topic. In my opinion, the Wiki should display the English documentation below the invitation (with a link) to write (or translate the English text to) a version in their language.

Let me add that this would probably help a lot in having a richer non-English documentation: it is easier to translate a page than to create it from scratch.

To add something. I've been editing/translating recently. I noticed the following:
Everyone that creates a wiki writes this:
https://trisquel.info/wiki/Introduction_to_Trisquel_GNU_Linux
or
Introduction to Trisquel GNU Linux
So the surfer is automatically redirected to his language like this:
https://trisquel.info/wiki/en/Introduction_to_Trisquel_GNU_Linux *no problem with this English viewer
or
https://trisquel.info/wiki/es/Introduction_to_Trisquel_GNU_Linux *there's a problem with this Spanish viewer as a it should be "Introducción a Trisquel GNU Linux" in Spanish. So the page doesn't exists and then they are invited to make a wiki.
Wiki creators/editors/translators must use urls including a language. That's a problem with non translated pages. In the case a page does not exist the surfer should redirected to an English version (but English version title differ from others languages titles (not in every page)).

I think it would be a better idea to have links to the existing translation in other languages so, people are invited to create the page knowing all the available pages in other languages from where he could translate, so, he might chose between few languages (if there are more then one of course),
Moreover, sometimes it help to translate when there are few languages, for example, there might be a part more difficult to translate from English and by seeing it in Russian, if he can read Cyrillic alphabet, a Polish person would more easily translate that difficult part because Russian is a quite closer language.
