canon Lbp3050 trisuel show that it's installed corectly but when i try to print nothing hapen .... what can i do ??

hello trisquel geeks;
i want to use my Canon lbp3050 on trisquel6 ... i intalled it using this instractions http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-2013437.html and i execut this script "canonLBP_install.sh" but when i try to print something nothing happens.... what can i do?
for information i used the same script on xubuntu and it works fine .
help pleas

That driver looks nonfree; there's no source code available.

no its free and its work on xubuntu but i didn't understand why don't work on trisquel ... normally trisquel is based on Ubuntu too ???

Ubuntu is non-free, Trisquel is free. That's the difference.

No, it's nonfree. According to Ubuntu Wiki, "Canon laser printers are supplied with Canon Advanced Printing Technology (CAPT), a proprietary closed-source printer driver software-stack developed by Canon."

Uninstall the driver (run canonLBP_uninstall.sh) and install foo2capt, a free driver for those printers.
