Disney telling kids that open source software is unsafe

Is this the kind of message that Disney should be portraying in their kids shows that millions watch? Either the overpaid writers don't know what open source software actually is or it could be an agenda by Disney themselves.
The article does mention that Disney is open sourcing some software, but it is actually Pixar related software. Of course Pixar has been owned by Disney since 2006.
