Gimp 2.8 on Trisquel 6>

Hi!

I have Trisquel 6 and It seems that the up-to-date version of GIMP is 2.6 but their website says they have a v2.8 available ?
Is it possible to have GIMP 2.8 on Trisquel 6.0 ?

You can install Trisquel 7 too. It has GIMP 2.8 by default.

Thank you! The problem was that I could not install 7 so i thought i would stay on 6.0
But i found a way to make 7 work on my computer so now I can have GIMP 2.8!
