How to display some languages

My laptop doesn't display some "exotic" languages. When I visit Wikipedia's page, I cannot see all the available languages. How do I get to see them all?

When I used to have Windows, I could see all of them. Do I have to install them using the repository? I can't find any information on how to do this.

I think you want to go to Language Support in the system settings.

Thanks. I am installing some with Synaptic now, although not all of them appear to be there.

Maybe you need to install fonts that include the characters of those languages, like fonts-arphic-* for Chinese, etc.

Thanks. I am using the Synaptic Package Manager to download and install the ones I need. Seems to be working.
