Icecat 30 and paypal login?

Hi,

After entering a password and email address on the paypal login page and
hitting the 'submit' button, icecat is unresponsive. I get "loading,
please wait', then nothing. When I close the browser session and try
opening a new one, I get 'icecat is not responding..., and have to use
'killall icecat', before I am allowed to start new session. This
happens regardless of whether noscript is running. I have paypal
white-listed in noscript.

Any ideas?

Try commenting out lines from /usr/lib/icecat/browser/defaults/preferences/vendor-icecat.js. Issues with IceCat are usually caused by some of the privacy settings in that file.

I wouldn't do business with paypal. They're infamous for freezing accounts randomly and stealing any money on it.
