Live Installer Not Recognizing Hard Drive

Hello All! I've been trying to install Trisquel 6.01 using the installer while running the live cd. It won't recognize my harddrive (the area where you would choose the partition to install to is blank).
Other distro's do recognize the hard drive.
Any ideas?
Thanks for your time!

From the live CD, open a terminal and run:
$ sudo fdisk -l

Post the output here.

EDIT: Also, could you post a screenshot of the installer when it gets to the partitioning stage?

Hello Legimet. It seemed that gNewSense would recognize the drive and allow installation of the operating system (but grub did not see the other operating system I had installed) but Ubuntu would not. I installed another hard drive, and the installer worked correctly. For this reason I cannot post a screenshot. The window when I got to the partitioning stage was whole, but there were no partitions shown.
I must also say, the "Show windows and tabs from last time" function is working. (Currently in Abrowser 28.0. I will update and try 29.0 shortly)
Could all my troubles be caused by a faulty hard drive? It seems to be the case to me at any rate.

I've upgraded to Abrowser 29.0 and everything works correctly (windows and tabs restored correctly).
So it seems I have a 250GB paperweight! Seems odd but there you go. All is well.

Legimet: I popped the 250GB HDD in an external docking station. Here's the output: (/dev/sdb)
william@Trisquel:~$ sudo fdisk -l
