Using cowbuilder, which is part of the cowdancer package, "cowbuilder --create" detects dwyn as jaunty and fails.

The bug seems to be not in cowdancer but in pbuilder. Try adding this to the /etc/pbuilderrc file:
If it works, I'll patch the pbuilder package.
