AMD Processor + Nvidia?

A Processor and an AMD GPU a free-software-friendly computer does not make.
What about an AMD Processor + an Nvidia GPU (old enough not to ask for signed firmware images - which isn't overly old if I'm not mistaken). To my knowledge something like that should work well.

It would, but "AMVIDIA" is often a poorly regarded combination. You're buying both low power efficiency and a slower CPU (on single-threaded tasks)...
Not to mention it is impossible to have such a combination on a laptop.
Oh thanks! (well.....at least it's possible just in case the PC I decide to want to have actually is like that)
Anyway is it technically possible for Chris to do computers with AMD CPU + Nvidia (regardless of how good the laptop will be)? Not that I'm asking for such a thing.
No, it is technically impossible to have a AMD CPU + NVIDIA GPU in a laptop.
