Dark / grey wallpaper

I am using the classic (I guess) wallpaper in the blue version. But I would reaaly like in a grey version that would match my cinnamon DE.
Is it made or is it easy to make?
One easy way, with GIMP, is through the menu "Colors/Desaturate...".

How did you get some space under your attached pictures? Mine are just clinging to the bottom line
I have no idea. Just browse, select, attach and save. It could have something to do with the aspect ratio.
I would still like it darker. Perhaps some where near the Serena theme which loldier posts (to the right).
next is, I would like icons to match. Is there an easy way to change colours of icons?

(BTW, Trisquel background pictures are saved in /usr/shared/backgrounds/)
