If you ask a question on replicant's forum not much happens. No answer. Or an answer
much later. Is it fair to say replicant's forum has stopped?
Replicant has stopped? If so much understandable because only few people will
use the phones available and because a lot of the devices on the phones do
not work.

I had a question about Replicant about nine months ago. I found that their forum was not very active, and their IRC was pretty much dead. However, I asked their mailing list and got a response the next day. Try the mailing list, if you haven't already.

Thanks.

That adds up. To me mailing lists are when there are not
people enough to run a forum.

I will ask on replicant's forum that the forum gets closed
and on irc the message should say, do not expect responses.

It is better if people turn to an active mailing list
than a not active forum.

Or synchronized with the mailing list like Trisquel's.

Yes, having too many channels of communication might not be a great idea in general.

Using Mailman 3.0 might be the solution to this mailing list vs. web forum dilemma for many free code projects. I was going to ask some questions about MM 3.0, but decided it would be better to start a thread on that topic, rather than hijacking this one:
