It has been reported (here) that Libreboot’s arm64 supported Chromebooks are having problems starting Trisquel’s 11.0.1 arm64 installer. For this reason, the following manual (here) was created as a workaround to install Trisquel on this devices. You might find a review of one of such devices here and a supported group here started by user arielenter.

In a different note, community member mYself has posted about some Chromebook computers in the past. It involves swapping parts (wifi?). Here is his info:

Although Google has done some good things for the free software community [cite], they distribute proprietary software, and promote services-as-a-substitute-for-software, not to mention the numerous privacy concerns that Google has raised.
