Nice, looks similar to Mate. How do you like lxQT. That last shot, what is that, like an extra half a desktop, maybe a square jellyfish?

I love LXDE, but it is here some advantage in LXQT over standard gtk2?

1st/ it's great that Ruben has included LXqt in the trisquel repos.

(Although LXqt is still ,under development ) it's not more lightweight than Mate and resembles a mix between Xfce + LXDE with a Numix theme.

LXDE/Openbox, JWM, IceWM , Fluxbox, Awesome, being more lightweight.From what i gather LXQt looks more as an alternative to Xfce, and has full qt5 support.
