I would say there is no need for it, the package managers already serve
the same purpose (installing games).

I don't play games that frequently anymore --- not because they aren't
good, actually, I find free/libre ones to be somewhat more interesting
than the ones I played in my childhood; it's just that I currently have
less time to play games.
