He said it's free software, but where are sources and licence's
condition?

Un juge lui reprochant de s'en être pris à des innocents lors de son
attentat contre le café Terminus, l'accusé répliqua "Il n'y a pas de
bourgeois innocents !" - Emile Henry.
He might be referring to cost rather than freedom.
Source would be the files contained in the the extension file (just open that file as an archive), but I don't see any license indicated there, so I guess it's proprietary.
It's possible that the author of this is just ignorant of what "no license" actually entails; you could ask.
The original application was actually GPLv3; this guy simply did bug fixes so I don't think that is legal to make a GPL app proprietary. Someone should definitely contact him about this issue. I found his e-mail if you want to reach out to him: pag77[at]mail(dot)ru
I sent him an email. If more people do this, it may be fixed sooner.
Here is the email I sent him:
>Thank you for carrying on the development of Screengrab.
>I noticed that there is no license included on the project page, or in the source code of Screengrab (fix version).
>The original Screengrab code is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3, which I attached to this email. A requirement of the GNU GPL is that all derivatives must be under the same license, and the licensing has apparently been removed. In order to make the addon GPL-compliant, you must change the license to the GPL version 3.

It's been over a week and I haven't gotten a response.

I'd got just a response of him one week ago : 'yes, it's free
software' ...

Silly question:
Has source code on .xpi file?
$ strings addons.xpi | more
No traces of sources or sort of.
I know it's a package, so how can I read .xpi file?

A .xpi file is just a .zip renamed. It can be extracted.

And if actually he puts sources under MPL, is he doing wrong ?

It needs to be GPL v3.
Also e-mailed. Sent mine to an alternate e-mail address I found here on his homepage:

He responded to my e-mail confirming the license is GPLv3; he is planning to get it adjusted on Mozilla Addons. :)
Thanks for E4FS! (emailing for free software)
