Issues playing videos over LAN on MATE - OK on Mini

Hi there,

Ive been using Mini for a few months and everything works fine.

I would like to use the MATE version but I am unable to play video media over the LAN from a server - something I am able to do out of the box under mini.

Is there additional steps I need to take to play videos on the LAN on a local server.

If I copy the files I can play them locally.
