Libreboot installation is not convenient

Hello guys i want to ask one thing,this might not be the right place but anyway, why libreboot installation is so expensive? 248 euros? At that price i can buy the entire libreboot laptop from minifree, i think is silly, basicly the installation cost like a new librebooted laptop? Where is the convinience?
Let's say i have a not librebooted x200 and i want to libreboot it, for 248 euros i'm gonna buy a new one...
I undestand that install libreboot is hard and i totaly support the company, but still, the price make no sence to me.
