Hi there!

I've been using Voip Supply for a couple of years. I don't use any of their hardware. I just pay a monthly fee, connect via Jitsi over the SIP protocol. Easy.

But they've stopped providing VOIP service recently. Now they only sell hardware.

I'm having real difficulties finding a replacement.

Vonage makes you use either their hardware or their software(non-free).

Does anybody have a good VOIP provider? It should be as easy as signing up for a VPN.

Pay monthly fee. Get info to connect. Done.

It would also be nice if the new provider could get the number I was using from Voip Supply. Also, bitcoin payments would be an extra bonus, but I've having enough difficulty just finding a Voip provider that is cool with Jitsi I've sort of given up on Bitcoin payments.

Surely there are Voip users within this community.

Thanks!

I was using: https://www.localphone.com and when you sign up, you get one international number for free, that looks like: +88351000XXXXXXX and you can add many international numbers. But I am not sure if that is for me, as they use non-free Javascript on the website, even though it works with LibreJS

You can connect over SIP to other users.

Best solution is to host your SIP server yourself, and acquire a number from someone, if you wish to buy, like from Twilio for example.

Even better solution would be to simple host it yourself in your office.
