Hello, I recently installed Trisquel as part of my search for a truly free gnu/linux distribution that works well with my laptop. I installed version 2.2. Everything worked except my wireless card which requires the ath5k module. I installed the linux-libre kernel version 2.6.29.1 deb package from Ali Gunduz' website and that resolved the wireless card problem.

I'm in the process of upgrading to "dwyn". I hope it's relatively stable. What version of Ubuntu is it based on?

I think it's based on Jaunty Jackalope (Ubuntu 9.04). Dwyn is completely
stable the only that remains to do on the RC is replacing the artwork.
