Quite Simply, FF will play a video at You Tube, but.

Quite often if you try to view a video you will get a message that says you "have a problem with HTML 5" and need to download a "beta" but the "beta" is a "tar" or "source" and you have no way to interact with that.

The answer is SeaMonkey.

AND I WOULD NOT HAVE POSTED THIS A WHILE AGO:

Today, I randomly typed into SeaMonkey search the following query using GOOGLE:

"Sea monkey and video downloader" without the quotes.

I received many returns but the FIRSt was:

Video download helper:: add-ons for Seamonkey:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/3006/

I downloaded, it, it installed and......

Whereas with FF the video downloader is on the top of the browser with a LARGE threesome of colored balls, with Sea Monkey you get a VERY DIGNIFIED AND SMALL little threesome of balls on the bottom right of Sea Monkey.

However, it works EXACTLY THE SAME....

AND.... A COMMENT ON TRI..... if you peruse the video download helper site you will see that the last update was....

October 14, 2010.

One could take the paranoid approach that Trisquel is DRIVING THE ADDITION OF SOMETHING LIKE VIDEO DOWNLOAD HELPER....

or not!!! :) :) :)

lol

anyway.. the video downloads to a new folder:

/home/downloadhelper/your file
