Setting keyboard layout for use with Emacs

Want to set a keyboard layout in the following way for use with Emacs. But finding the setup very challenging.

Keys: | Hyper | Alt(Meta) | Ctrl | Space-Bar | Ctrl | Alt(Meta) | | Hyper |

Perhaps using setxkbmap. I use a US 104-Key Mechanical keyboard, and want a Dvorak Layout, with the key remapping as discussed.

The best I could do with Trisquel is to use System -> Preferences -> Hardware -> Keyboard

Then Layouts -> Options with the settings

Alt and Meta are on Alt
Make Caps Lock an additional Hyper
Swap Left Alt with Left Ctrl
