Software-Based Virtualization on Libreboot Laptops

Hello, I have a Libreboot X200 with the the latest release, 0160902, installed. I'm aware that there was an issue with hardware virtualization on libreboot laptops, but I have not found anything on the forums about a software-based virtualization solution; is there a program that anyone recommends for that purpose? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
