I did not succeed installing Trsiquel with both tries Lili USB creator and Universal-USB-Installer 1.9.5.2. Although I get the Trisquel menu, if I try installing I get the message uncompression_error on a black screen. Je n' ai pas réussi à installer Trisquel avec une clé Live USB, bien que j' obtienne le menu Trisquel, si j' essaye d' installer le logiciel j' obtiens le message : uncompression_error sur écran noir. Configuration de l' ordinateur :ACER Aspire M1641-FR7H, Intel® Pentium® Dual core Processor E2220 (1M Cache, 2.40 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, Disque dur formaté de 320 Go SATA (7200 RPM, Nvidia 9500GS 512 HDMI/DVI/DSUB ATX.
I bet it's a problem with your .ISO. Try redownloading. If you have a working network connection at where you're installing, probably the netinstall might be the best option. Of course you can also burn a CD to see if the USB is the problem.
Probably he should also check the integrity of the burned image first; then, if he encountered any errors, he should check the downloaded ISO.
Thanks for your reply, I have redownloaded Trisquel but or it does the same thing (uncompression error_system halted) or it does a dark screen with a white - blinking or something else like opening a square white box with message I don't understand. Another thing is that after downloading the logo bloc notes or PDF appears on the file.
