When CJK characters appear in the title bar of a window, the title bar seems to expand downwards, with any widgets in the window being rendered over the top of title bar area. See the following image:
Notice how the thin blue line that marks the border between the window content area and title bar is being hidden behind the menu bar.
This seems to occur with all programs - for example, I have included Japanese text in the title of this issue, so you should be able to see the problem occur in Web Browser.
I think that's a problem of the desktop theme called Clearlooks, which comes from upstream. I've noticed it too.
I think the thing to do would be to report it in Debian's bug trackers, if it's not reported already.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Trisquel better. Please answer these questions:
* Is this reproducible?
* If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?
This will help us to find and resolve the problem.
Specifically I would want to know:
* What program is that you are using to produce the issue?
* Are you using any themes or anything like that?
* Does the issue happen on Trisquel 5.0 or 5.5 or only 4.0?
