If you want to make a program automatically start when you start your computer it can be done.
- Open the System Settings.
![Trisquel Menu with System Settings selected Trisquel Menu with System Settings selected](http://trisquel.info/files/fonts-1_0.png)
- Select Start up Applications
![Startup Applications Startup Applications](http://trisquel.info/files/startup_apps.png)
![Startup Applications Prefrences Startup Applications Prefrences](http://trisquel.info/files/startup_apps_prefrences.png)
you should now see this window ![Window Window](http://trisquel.info/files/add_startup_program_window.png)
In the Name box you can enter whatever you want but it would be best to enter the name of the program you want to start.
In the Command box you must enter the name of the program you want to start, for example if I wanted to start Abrowser I would use the command "abrowser" or if i wanted to start GIMP I would use "gimp".
The Comment can also be whatever you want.
Now when you restart your computer the program you selected should start.
