On that recent Mini Aramo system, I am getting the following list of "GNOME_xxx" startup applications:

10. settings override migration (the only one that was checked by default, see post above)

15. Wacom tablet support
16. keyboard shortcuts
17. sound sample caching
18. RFKill support

I like gnomish creatures as much as the next dwarf, but these seem to be sitting idle: they all are unchecked by default on Aramo, and I do not know under which circumstances they may be activated by the user.

Back into Mini deep sea diving. I have not been looking at *running* processes yet.
