Just several days before, I obtained a 13-years-old X41t. This time I purchased a 14-years-old X40.
The legacy computer is about to falling apart, so I cleaned it with extreme care and successfully repaired the WLAN, bluetooth and microphone as I proceeded.
Now it has 1 GiB of RAM and Atheros WLAN. The very slow 1.8-inch HDD shall be replaced by a CF card as soon as I receive the card and the converter. It will serve as our local community's GNU/Hurd experimental machine, too.
