login keyring and wifi

Sometimes when I try to connect to wifi, Trisquel tells me something like "the login keyring did not unlock when you logged in to your computer; please enter the login keyring password".

I don't remember ever making a password for a login keyring.

What's a login keyring? Can I leave it unlocked all the time? Should I?

I suspect you have autologin enabled. Disable it and log in each time you start a session. This will unlock your keyring. A keyring is a file that stores your passwords in one place. It's controlled by a process called gnome-keyring-daemon. It has a front-end called Seahorse.

Hi loldier

Thanks for your reply. I log in each time. I will try Seahorse; maybe it will show me what's going on.

You could try to set the keyring password to match your login password.
