Hello, dear constructors and developers of Trisquel, and also all the users!
Thank you for creation and maintenance of this distro. I myself am not a constant Linux user, but I had the need to do something in Perl, and unfortunately required modules failed to get installed in Windows badly. So I looked around for a small Linux distro and found Trisquel mini. Just does what I need.

Although while upgrading cpan few questions arised in my mind. Please don't kill noobish me right away.

Is it technically possible to include most of the needed headers and libraries and also 'make' utility into the iso image from the beginning? I don't know what libraries and headers are really most commonly used, it just "make not OK" at each module compiling and "xxx.h not found" make my eyebrows raise in question if it is normal in Linux world to have office packet, dvd burner, mediaplayer, imagemagick and other stuff included from a beginning, but to not have full base for installing of just anything. I don't know if "full base" is even a thing that exists and if it would fit into mini image, though.

And another question which is the reason why this post goes to troll section of forum, as it is total offtop. Trisquel is a distro of Spanish origin as I understand, therefore should have large Spanish-speaking userbase. Can anybody help me and post lyrics for "Caramba" of DJ Rodriguez? Please?

the reason while this forum might go into a troll form is because you lack aAnd need a bath overall. trisquel was develop by a Spaniard from Spain only they are the owners of TRISQUEL, AS RUBEN HE COULD GIVE YOU A BETTER RESPONSE..

It is technically possible. It would not be a small distribution if you install all libraries: there are more than 10,000 of them in Trisquel's repository.

It is. Most users want an Office suite, a media player, etc. Programmers are supposed to know how to install packages. If you prefer graphical applications, you can use the "Synaptic Package Manager", which comes with the default install of both Trisquel and Trisquel Mini. If you install a package that depends on some libraries, those are installed as well. Automatically. To program, you may actually install such libraries alone. But not all Perl modules are in Trisquel's repository. You can get more with CPAN.

Finally, but importantly, you are actually referring to *GNU*/Linux distributions: https://www.gnu.org/gnu/linux-and-gnu.html
