Well that is good news for the Trisquel community, the persistent question rises from the public.

What is Ruben biggest motivation?

More Paellas?

More Pesetas?

More Euros?

More Dollars from FSF?

or

More Bit coins?

I'm HUMBLY very curious.

Traditionally Trisquel was very, very tortoise in releasing updates.

anyhow THOSE ARE MY QUESTIONS FOR THE TROLL HOLE OF THE WEEK.

Maybe because Trisquel 6 was released last year and a year after Ubuntu 12.04 was released that it is based on?

Maybe because Ubuntu 14.04 LTS was released.

They only base their releases on LTS releases of Ubuntu?

Their is no release date on Trisquel 7 but some people is using it and they can get long bug testing period and a good stable release out of the box?

I don't mind helping testing the new version of trisquel, we all clearly understand the only developer of trisquel, which is Ruben, he has a big hand into this matter, but to release a distro to soon with all the bugs, not clearly filter out, that is a no go and a poor decision in judgement.

In the other hand. I do use my 6.1 version, matter fact, I use it to test my routers, firewalls and switches, basically as a network tool is fine with me. but the latest abrowser definetly is junky, that is just my opinion.
