Hi,
I installed a beta on about March 19, and have been doing updates as soon
as update manager pushes them. Having done this, do I essentially have a
full release?

No. Rubén still has to patch the new graphics in and similar. There is also possibly a USB wireless N chipset that was supported in the prior release and needs to be verified as working. The carl9170 firmware is present though in the last beta.
