Help for IceCat Fail

Installed via Guix and was working fine. Don't know what I might have done but now it launches but all it's text doesn't render right. See the pic.
Any ideas?

maybe do
guix install font-liberation font-dejavu
and then
fc-cache -rv
At least this is what I did after installing guix (the distro) to have Icecat show fonts correctly.

Thanks antidoto - you the Man!
That worked.
It had worked fine so I must have lost installed fonts somehow, maybe deleting profiles.
This morning I had to reinstall all but two of my apps that I had gotten via Guix. Their desktop icons had turned into yellow triangles with an ! in them and failed to launch. I think I have to learn how to be careful cleaning out 'unused profiles.'
