Hi,

I've downloaded a file .ttf, a True Type Font, but when I click and ask to search for a program able to install it, there is no return.

When I used Ubuntu, I remember a GUI program that installed fonts that way. Does anyone know how? Or how to install via command line?

take a look at /usr/share/fonts (better, /usr/local/share/fonts) ... just put your fonts in there!

You can also put them in .fonts under your home folder. If you do this, only you (not other users on the same system) will get the font.

Try installing the GUI-based program called Font Manager. It's found in the repositories.

You can manually put your fonts under /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ (or /usr/local/share/fonts).

There are couple of GUI applications you may use:-

By the way, if you want a large collection of free/libre TTF fonts, check this out: https://github.com/google/fonts/archive/master.zip
