Lenovo X200 battery calibration

I recently received my X200 tablet and I immediately noticed that the charging
process would never go over 45% so I started looking for ways to calibrate the
battery readings. In some websites people recommended totally discharging the
laptop and recharging it to 100% would do the trick but instead it got worse,
now it doesn't go above 37%, right now I'm running parabola but also got the
same problem and readings on trisquel so I think is a OS independent problem.

I don't think it's a problem with the battery because as I understand an old
li-ion battery still charges to 100% it just discharges faster
(I could be wrong though).

Have any of you had similar problems? How did you solve them?

I either don't understand how it works or it is just not designed for the task. I tested it and after waiting for a while I only got some data readings back but the computer readings for the battery did not change at all. Thanks for the idea anyway.

I've no idea really. A quick search turned out given package. No idea how to use it. Read the manual.
