If there is a Free software foundation, what about a free hardware foundation? A foundation that works actively to make free hardware with free software only. Computers that would have yes-or-yes a 100% free BIOS and os too. But, does not exist, do you think we need a FHF (free hardware foundation)?

There is no such thing as "free hardware". All computers include many components sourced from one of a couple giant corporations, and not only are the designs of these components unavailable, few would be able to build the expensive factories needed to produce the hardware themselves, anyway. So having a "Free Hardware Foundation" would be just as redundant as a "Time Travel Foundation". There's nothing realistic it could do, and it would just be a waste of money.

And there is no "free hardware". Only "free hardware designs". Because there are no copiers for hardware: https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-hardware-designs.html

Wow, nice idea: "FreeHardwareFoundation". The idea is much more expensive that Software.

Can't be a FHF.
At best, one of the megacorps can copyleft all their hardware designs and drivers, becoming a firm that respects your freedom. Quite unlikely.

Sure, I'll start the Free Hardware Foundation for you, mate.
Just send me a couple billion dollars and I'll get to it.
