Does trisquel run on many chromebooks? This link says the chromebook pixel (very high end) works https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/chromebook but doesn't mention anything else. Are there any popular chromebooks that trisquel has no problems running on? If it works on a version of debian (not ubuntu bc i know they use non free drivers) would trisquel work on it? Do most/all google made chromebooks work? It appears samsung, acer and HP are popular does trisquel work on any of them?

Trisquel won't run on any of the ARM-based (e.g. Exynos, NVIDIA)
Chromebooks as it is x86-only.

I believe you might have to change the BIOS settings to use "Developer
Mode" in order to delete Chrome OS and install Trisquel on the Chromebook.

There is a thread from last year on the Acer C7 model specifically:

Muhammed just posted a wiki page which might be worth reading/watching
for updates:

Search might help as well:

I edited that page today when I saw it linked in Jimmy's post. It looks (from the date next to my name) like I just posted it today, but it has been up since I noticed mYself's posts about Chromebooks probably a few months ago.

I added a link to this topic from that wiki page; Jimmy's question is an important one I think.
