Hi there!
I'm following news about lightspark, a new alternative to flash and a new competitor of Gnash. The goals are to be stable and as "good" as flash for watching youtube, etc. Does someone knows if it would be ok in Trisquel? Is it free enough? What are your thoughts about it?

The website says it's licensed under LGPLv3, which is a free license, so I don't see why including it in Trisquel would be a problem.

It's an interesting project. It seems much smaller and less funded than the Gnash project, so it's difficult for me to believe it could be anywhere near Gnash in features and performance. But I will test it out.

The Launchpad PPA didn't work properly.

I often make mistakes when building from tarballs, so I will let somebody else test this one.
