Hi,

I've just upgraded to Trisquel 5.5 from 5.0. I'd like to know if there's an option to get the Package Manager toolbar to have the default search input textbox enabled (on the bar) by default. I don't like having to click the icon, then typing in a query, then searching for something. Too many steps for common things.

If not, could someone point me in the direction of the source code on the sources DVD I downloaded so I could make and install that change myself?

I discovered the fix for this. apt-xapian-index has to be installed.
