When we get a shock, our breathing is disarranged. One of the ideas of yoga is to try to control our mental state from breathing.
To control breathing, you will get stable mental state. It is simple. Just breathing slowly. It is simple but extremely difficult to master.

I think I've never seen such sane nitpicking here.

By the way there is a good Japanese football player whose name is Takefusa Kubo.
I might have to write about some good Japanese football players. Kubo kun has belonged to a lower branch of FC Barcelona.
From Wikipedia:

>In August 2009, he was awarded MVP at FC Barcelona Soccer Camp[3] in which he participated at the age of eight. In April 2010, he was selected as a member of FC Barcelona School team and participated in Sodexo European Rusas Cup held in Belgium. He was awarded MVP even though his team finished third.

>In August 2011, Takefusa Kubo had been invited to join FC Barcelona’s youth Academy, La Masia, after passing the trial. He began to play for Barca Alevin C (U11). During his first full season (2012–13), he was top goalscorer in the league with 74 goals in 30 games. In his third full season (2014–15), he was promoted to Barca Infantil A (U14). But the Spanish club was later found to have violated FIFA’s international transfer policy for under-18 youths, making Kubo ineligible to play for the club. He returned to Japan on March 2015 in search of playing time, signing with FC Tokyo’s junior youth team.

There was a rumor that FC Barcelona's supporters called him like Messi junior. He got the top scorer of the Med sea cup or something too. About one week or two weeks before, I got to know that he joined Real Madrid.
From Wikipedia:

>On 14 June 2019, Kubo signed with Spanish club Real Madrid on a five-year deal. He joins Real Madrid Castilla for the 2019-20 season.

I had a strange feeling. I know a bit about the relation between Barcelona and Madrid. Personally I more like FC Barcelona than Real Madrid for a certain reason. I would like Catalan's personality. If that was his own decision, I have no complaint about it. That might mean that he was just such a fellow. But he is 18 years old. So that judgement might be a bit cruel.

There is (was) another good football player whose name is Takashi Usami. He is 26, 27 years old, the same as Neymar. They have played a game in 2009 U-17 world cup. It was the first time for me to see his play and I was attracted his play. There are only a few such players. Neymar seemed to be a bit better at shooting than Usami, but I thought that Usami was better at other skills than Neymar, especially at dribbling. He joined FC Bayern Munich as rental and Bayern had an option to buy him after a year. I was following his blog, I have never followed someone's blog except his. He has reported that he scored 5 goals in a practice game happily in his blog. He was implying that there were other famous players such as Larm, Ribery, in the practice game. He scored 5 goals. But Bayern did not use the option. Some players said that he had to learn the way of there, but those are not concerend with football skills. I thought that Usami was a just naive, full of confidence in his skill, not bad fellow. And it seemed that he was obviously not a side player but many coachs including Japanese's positioned him in the side. He also has said himself that he was thinking he was not a side player. He lost aggressiveness. He seemed to started caring about cooperation with other players too much. Maybe now he is playing at a German club in second league, while Neymar has succeeded. (I have just glanced news that Neymar wants to play in Barcelona again but Barcelona is not going to... or something while checking the spell of his name)

Of course I started to doubt if there might have been reasonable reasons of those matters but I have heard that FC Bayern's coach said like "He is a player who can wear the no.10 uniform of our team", I am not sure who he was referring to, but I believe the coach was reffering to Usami.
About Kubo, FC Barcelona violated the policy, maybe it was about the number of youth players or something but they are professionals. I wonder if they can make such a simple mistake. I think it strange. To watch his play in Camp Nou was my vague dream. In my humble opinion, he is good at weighting his leg down in a moment when shooting. It is really quick. Can he try to score from Barcelona passionately. I feel it is something wrong. He must have loved Catalan people.

But you didn't answer my question. Have you mastered how to control your breathing with yoga? Are you in control of yourself in all situations because of that?

I also had some favorite football players, especially when I was a young boy. I followed American football, which is a very different game than your football, which we call "soccer" in America. I got to meet some of my favorite football players when I was a boy and take their pictures, including Mean Joe Green, Jack Lambert, and Franco Harris, who all won championships for our club called the Pittsburgh Steelers. Did you ever meet your favorite players?

You must know it if you have not missed reading some my previous posts ;)

>Did you ever meet your favorite players?

I think I have not... I have met Ryu Murakami, though. But it were just in some salsa events which he organized so I just met his eyes at the entrance of the concert hall. It has just reminded me about a strange experience. When I met his eyes, I felt time stopped in a moment. It was completely silent in a moment. I believe he also felt it since his expression.

So, you HAVE mastered it! Do you take students?

I don't think so... even if you take students, don't you feel something wrong about taking money through religion? Maybe Gautama Buddha would not like it, I don't know if he took money from people though. There must be good gurus and personally I would dislike to be taught something in a school (I mean, in Japan, there are many various kinds of "schools", yoga schools, surfing schools, painting schools or such kinds of schools) except English language because I felt I had to speak practically. I think basically internet is sufficient for learning yoga and if we got liked yoga and kept practicing it, we would eventually meet some good guru by destiny.

You could also take students and not charge them any money.

In America, many of our famous computer programmers are also very fat. You could help them to be more healthy by being their online yoga teacher.

I do not know what Gautama Buddha said about taking money from students. One of my favorite sayings from him is "How do you keep a single drop of water from ever drying out? By throwing it into the ocean." I believe he meant that students of the dharma should not remove themselves from society. What good is Buddhism if all its students are poor beggars, living away from society?

On the other hand, America has very healthy culture for example in San Francisco's famous place.
So I see American people tend to do things too much compared to Japanese. It might be the difference between a mixed nation and a mono-nation.

San Francisco has a big problem of homeless people living in the street. Do you have this homeless problem in Japan?

I've been to Japan, but only to the airport in Tokyo.

Despite you are blessed with materials, why you feel so unhappy is, possibly, because you cannot stand the real that there are such people, as one of the reasons. Maybe more you know, more you cannot stand it. Your eros would not forgive you. So understand. There is no person who is full of thanatos. That is our nature.

Yes. Sometimes they are attacked by young men. It is called "Homeless hunting". It is ugly. I always think how about if they pick a fight with military men of U.S.Army or yakuza or something. Most of them never pick a fight with a stronger man one on one. Always they aim at one weak target by many to one like school girls. Ugly. Really uncool. Such kind of men would deserve to be called faggots, I guess.

Oh I see, so in Zen Buddhism the return to society is part of the process. Very interesting. In Tibetan Buddhism I believe it is still controversial, as many monks only want to live apart from society.

It seems so. Your post reminded me of the illustrations. I had been forgetting it at all.

Really... many of Japanese monks could seem so too... I wonder if they Tibetan monks are enthusiastic about online games.

Possible. I met several in western China, close to Tibet. They all had smartphones and some were driving motorcycles. Maybe they play games on their smartphones?

Yoga is how to live. We all die. There is only how I lived. I might be an idiot but I never do things that I don't think cool.

Maybe so. But the Tibetan Book of the Dead says that learning how to die and how to respond to death and how to choose your rebirth is probably even more important.

You really know about East philosophy well. Yes, how to live is equal to how to die, how to respond to death, how to rebirth as better existence.

I hope you enjoy the movie, I've really loved it. It was shot on location in the villages and Buddhist monasteries in Ladakh, high up in the Himalaya mountains. It's a very interesting story about a monk's desire to live a different life than the quiet meditation life of a Buddhist monk. Very good actors, photography, music.

Sometimes I have to remember to breathe

That would be the best breathing. It might be good for you if you could hear the best joke ever from your mates just before you die. Just before you die, "OK, he died. Everyone well done!" "Yeah well done." "I can breathe again." "Let's go to the party. That's already beginning." "Yes, it took longer than I thought." "OK, let's go everyone. Hurry up."
