Seems it's not loading the website's CSS file. Also not loading image files. I don't know why, though.
This is odd, it does work in Firefox with No script running but A-browser is a no go.
It works fine in GNU IceCat 31.0, with Noscript.
Another strang problem. I can't log in @ https://www.copy.com/ from Abrowser
Try commenting out lines from /usr/lib/abrowser/browser/defaults/preferences/vendor-abrowser.js and see if it works. That file contains custom Abrowser settings that aren't the default in Firefox, many of which improve privacy. Unfortunately, some of those changes break websites.
Thank you Legimet. The solution fixed both of my problems
Nice work Legimet!
If somebody has a little bit of time we should try to narrow down this issue to one pref. The easiest way to do so would be to disable half of the modifications to see which half the troublemaker is in. Then disable half of those and so on. It shouldn't take forever although there are quite a few prefs.
I'd do it myself but don't have the time right now. Once we know the pref, perhaps it should be reconsidered whether Trisquel should set it.
There was an earlier thread about similar Abrowser woes but I think that was left without a solution.
There aren't that many prefs in that file, and most of the time, the problem is in the last section of that file (privacy settings) and has to do with something like cookies or referers.
Right on the money again Legimet! If I set network.http.sendRefererHeader to 2 it works.
Mozillazine knowledgebase documents the pref at http://kb.mozillazine.org/Network.http.sendRefererHeader
Possible values and their effects

Never send the Referer header or set document.referrer.
1
Send the Referer header when clicking on a link, and set document.referrer for the following page.
2
Send the Referer header when clicking on a link or loading an image, and set document.referrer for the following page.
Now I guess we can start the discussion if this is a badly crafted web site or a silly way for the browser to do things.
I pulled out every single pref, reset abrowser and cleared all history, cookies, etc and that still didn't fix the problem I'm having. My problem is with my bank website and they're being assholes about it and won't tell me what they're specially generated error code means. This obviously leaves me guessing.
All I know for sure is that every other build of firefox 31 works fine with my banks site. I'm left with running FF 31.0 in wine to access my bank account. Not ideal at all.
> FF 31.0 in wine
Why in Wine? Firefox has GNU/Linux builds. You can't even see the Windows builds from a GNU/Linux system without some digging (or a false user agent string)...
I guess I could download the FF build for GNU/Linux. When I did so before it acted quite funny because of all the abrowser prefs already existing in my profile and so forth. I just decided not to fart around with that and isolate FF a bit from all the other prefs in my system.
You can create a new profile to isolate the prefs. Also I'm pretty sure the Windows build of Firefox comes with at least one nonfree DLL.
Good point on both accounts. I should do that for the time being. None-the-less I am still trying to work out why these two most recent builds of abrowser have developed this problem.
Have you tried setting network.http.sendRefererHeader to 2? lembas said it fixed it: https://trisquel.info/en/forum/abrowser-not-loading-some-websites-properly#comment-55186
I just gave that a try and it didn't fix the problem.
