Hello Everyone, this question is mostly for Chris himself but I wanted everyone to see it because I may not be the only one asking this.

I've seen that the beautiful All-in-One desktop was removed from the ThinkPenguin store. My question is, since I am myself interested in buying one in the near future (1 to 3 months from now on depending on the final price), will there be a new All-In-One on the store any time soon ?

Probably not. Of all the items in our catalog it had the least demand. People have to show interest or products will disappear from the catalog. Each product takes a lot of time to add/maintain/support/etc. If something isn't selling we aren't going to continue it. We tried all-in-one desktops and people just didn't seem to be interested.

Thank you for the answer Chris. This is actually a very bad news (at least for me), but it is understandable. I'm just asking this because, now that I have a new job I can (and simply want) buy a new computer, and I was looking for a all-in-one with only the power cable to connect and nothing more. Knowing that I only have the Apple iMac and the System76 Saber Complete options to choose from is quite sad :S

But, just by curiosity, did you sell the last one and then removed from the list or did you still have anyone left ? Otherwise I would have to buy the Saber without the Intel Wireless and then buy the Wireless chip from ThinkPenguin (not the best choice but it's actually better than buying an iMac).

Once again thank you for your fast answer.

When your ready to buy send me an email and I'll see what we can do. We do generally stock extra systems and parts for most products. This is to speed up repairs. Turn around time for repairs is usually 2-3 days or better. We're competing with IBM/Lenovo business class service level warranty time wise. Actually I think its better. I think even they are like 5 days or something although frequently get it done in 1 day.

Thank you for the proposition :D But just to know, since the webpage has been deleted, is there a way to see all the options available ?

Thank you once again for the keep informations :D

It's actually sad (IMO) to see such a good product disappear (and this even knowing and understanding the cause) since System76 and ZaReason are still selling the same computer with different components inside.

Just two other questions then:
1 - Was there a plan for the AIO with a wireless chip ? (Or is it possible to install it anyways ?)
2 - Is there a plan for an i7 with HD4000 on "The Penguin Wee" ?

Once again thank you for taking your taking to answer me.

1. It had/has wireless card built-in. Atheros AR9285.

2. Intel does not have a compatible CPU that would meet our standards. The one compatible i7 CPU is the Intel® Core™ i7-3770T Processor (8M Cache, up to 3.70 GHz). We won't stock it because the CPU has "Intel® vPro Technology" and "Intel® Trusted Execution Technology". Both are technologies which are problematic due to digital restrictions and/or have potential privacy issues.

If you still wanted to get it with that CPU you would have to put in a custom request via email and wait a few extra days for us to process the order. We have to get the CPU in and then assemble the unit.

The better solution is to go with the Penguin Pro and get an i7 that doesn't include this technology.
