When I tried to install Banshee I received this error:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
banshee-extension-ubuntuonemusicstore: Depends: libubuntuone1.0-cil (>= 0.10.0) which is a virtual package.
The following actions will resolve these dependencies:

Keep the following packages at their current version:
1) banshee-extension-ubuntuonemusicstore [Not Installed]

Leave the following dependencies unresolved:
2) banshee recommends banshee-extension-ubuntuonemusicstore (= 2.0.0-2ubuntu2+5.0trisquel1)

Accept this solution? [Y/n/q/?]

Clicking enter lets me install Banshee. Shouldn't Banshee be repackaged?

That would only require removing "banshee-extension-ubuntuonemusicstore (= 2.0.0-2ubuntu2+5.0trisquel1)" from the "Depends" line of DEBIAN/control (in the DEB archive).

However, this version 2.0.0-2ubuntu2+5.0trisquel1 of banshee-extension-ubuntuonemusicstore is in the dagda-update repository: http://packages.trisquel.info/dagda-updates/banshee-extension-ubuntuonemusicstore (I have also checked from my system). So I do not really understand the issue APT raises. Is your index up to date ('sudo apt-get update' or "Reload" button in Synaptic or in "Update manager")?

The problem is the package libubuntuone1.0-cil which is missing.

I suppose he could get it at http://packages.ubuntu.com/natty/libubuntuone1.0-cil or directly via http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/libu/libubuntuone/libubuntuone1.0-cil_0.10.0-0ubuntu1_all.deb considering that Dagda is based off of Natty. Just make sure you have those other dependencies. :-)

That would technically work. However I believe this package is missing because it raises freedom issues. The fix would therefore be to remove banshee-extension-ubuntuonemusicstore from Dagda's repositories (it is not present in the older versions of Trisquel) and the dependency in banshee. Since this dependency is only recommended, it does not prevent the installation of the music player (as aloniv experimented).
