Best laptop for using trisquel

Does anyone have a recommendations for a cheap laptop (under $300), that also has over 4 hour battery life? I have an old thinkpad that works well but only last about an hour and a half before needing to be charged again. I would be using this device for school so it should have wifi and preferably be thin. The pinebook pro looks good, but it has been out of stock for a while.

Why not consider a new battery for the ThinkPad then? That will likely be cheaper than a new laptop and perhaps more practical than replacing the entire computer.
Also, some ThinkPads can be used with GNU Boot but you didn't say which model so I can't say more about that.
