Broadcom Crystal HD for x60s... Require firmware/driver blobs?

I'm thinking of installing this card to my x60s to be able to watch 1080p videos fluently. Will need blobs?

Debian has blobs for these cards in non-free repository. I doubt you will be able to use the cards without the blobs.
