Hi There,

I think it will be really nice to use and install Trisquel for Qubes.

As it will be first GFSD there , plus first ubuntu based as well.

So i was wondering what make trisquel away from this step?

Thank You!

Doesn't Qubes include proprietary firmware (at least)? If so, that is a reason not to recommend it.

Don’t recommend Qubes at all that I think Qubes is clueless on keeping against nonfree drivers. Or ask them to migrate to Linux-libre.
Ohterwise Parabola+Xen+Whonix is best for your concern.

Thats true as fedora inside Qubes OS (which has no relation with built-in templates) , But building inside it is free software and trisquel gonna integrated with only Xen virtualizer. so totally free as building as running.

And if i recall the FSDG rule saying that it shouldnt requires non-free software to run it. which is totally fine with Qubes case.

unless there is something im missing you may enlight me with.

Magic Banana here stands for, are the still nonfree hardware drivers in Qubes? If so Qubes won’t be recommended, I instead would recommend Parabola+Xen+Whonix.
