cannot install trisquel 11.0.1 on a libreboot notebook

trisquel 11.0.1 iso 2.9 GB Live USB/DVD
The iso was burned onto a dvd. No error messages during burning.
If during installation I select install trisquel then installation aborts.
If during installation I selecgt install trisquel in text mode then installation moves on until an archive mirror has to be selected. Then installation stops with a bad archive mirror error message. I tried entering different mirrors. Also archive.trisquel.org. Installation cannot move on.
I got trisquel 11.0.1 installed on a non libreboot notebook.
Should you not be able to install trisquel 11.0.1 on a libreboot notebook? Have you managed installing trisquel 11.0.1 on a libreboot notebook?

Moving that hdd to a libreboot notebook and trisquel 11.0.1 runs on the libreboot notebook.
