Hi,

Unfortunately https://trisquel.info/en/forum/certificate-patrol topic was closed.

I cannot find the Certificate Patrol add-on from the "Search addons" box within Icecat or Abrowser.

If I try to download it from https://trisquel.info/en/browser/addons/certificate-patrol, I get a message saying that Certificate Patrol could not be installed because it is not compatible with Icecat 38.8.0. I get the same for Abrowser 44.0.2.

I guess the next step should be to try to download it from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/certificate-patrol/

Is it safe if I install it from there? Is it free software?

At https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/certificate-patrol/ I can read it is under a "Custom License". Can anyone have a look at that license and tell us if that is free software?

How could I get the software and verify I got the right one? If I try to install it from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/certificate-patrol/ I get a message saying "Author not verified"

Cheers

Hello!

Topics get closed after a certain time of no replies I believe. Turns out the "custom license" is MPL 1.1, so it is free software. [1] I don't seem to be getting that author not verified message.
