Enabling search suggestions on Aborwser and Icecat.

Greetings ladies and gentlemen.
I've been using Abrowser and Icecat very happily thanks to their better configuration defaults but I miss the searchbar suggestions provided by its respective search engine. I've tried to enable them via system settings but it didn't work.
Could you help me?

Right click the search box > show suggestions.

Alredy done that before posting, I don't have suggestions even though the its is marked as "true".
I have the theory that it has to do something with the language settings.

Often the culprit is an extension. You could make a new profile and try both things.
