I'm dual booting suse 11.2 and trisquel. I got it to work and then I did an update; which i think might have been a kernel update, and grub spits out "file not found". Does Trisquel have bootloader utility to make it easier to fix? I don't like going old school with stuff like this unless I have to.

Did you install Suse before or after Trisquel? Or else, which Grub are you using, the one installed with Suse or Trisquel's?

thnx for the help... I got it fixed. I was using the grub from Trisquel. I forgot grub was easier to edit than lilo. I edited the menu.lst file to point to Suse's symlinks to the vmlinuz and initrd files.

Suse has /boot/initrd symlinked to /boot/initrd-; same with vmlinuz. Makes sense really; you don't have to constantly update grub everytime there's a kernel update.
