Dear all,
yesterday i clicked "upgrade to 7.0LTS Belenos" in a popup that appeared. It all worked well it seems but since then my Grub has changed and i cannot boot my KXstudio(Ubuntu) partition anymore... any ideas?

If i select it, it asks for username and password and than it returns to the same grub screen again.

(new)Trisquel boots fine.
All older kernels are gone from the list.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I believe you'll find the solution to your problem there:

Thank you very much! that helped :)
Would you know why this "feature" was built in?

No idea - you'll have to ask the Trisquel devs :).

This happened to me before so I panicked and installed Ubuntu 14.04.1. No password and saw all my partitions.

It's weird because Trisquel 7 and Ubuntu 14.04 use the same GRUB packages.

Same GRUB, different config.

Do everything through debotstrap and you might've avoid this problem (I did but that could've been down to not updating my package to a problematic version, or me debootstrapping Trisquel before the version was released, etc).
